Los Alisos Recycling Plant

LAWRPThe Los Alisos Water Recycling Plant has been operating since 1964 and has undergone several upgrades as newer technology was developed. In recent years, changes in the recycled water process have been developed that provide greater efficiency and cost effectiveness. IRWD implemented these upgrades to portions of the Los Alisos plant in 2007.  Upgrades included the addition of a new disinfection facility, a pumping station, a sodium hypochlorite building and various pipelines.

These upgrades result in a plant with a maximum capacity of 7.5 million gallon per day.
